This visa must be requested as long as the foreign personnel entering the country does NOT meet the following characteristics:\u00a0<\/p><ol><li>The nationality of the foreign members must require a visa to enter Colombia. To corroborate this, find here<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/comisionfilmicacolombia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/resolucion-5488-del-22-de-julio-de-2022-nacionalidades-restringidas.pdf\"> resolution 5488 of July 22nd, 2022<\/a><\/span> and the list of <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cancilleria.gov.co\/tramites_servicios\/visa\/lista-a-b-c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">restricted nationalities.\u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/li><li>The stay in Colombia exceeds 90 days (extendable up to 180 days).<\/li><\/ol><p>If your stay in Colombia is less than 90 days, you do not need to apply for a visa; however, you must obtain the Permit for <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.migracioncolombia.gov.co\/cedula-de-extranjeria\/permiso-para-desarrollar-otras-actividades--poa-472372\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Other Activities (POA)<\/a><\/span> through the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.migracioncolombia.gov.co\/registro\/public\/formularioRegistro.jsf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Migraci\u00f3n Colombia application form<\/a><\/span>, selecting the option <em>&#8216;Concerts, events, or artistic activities.<\/em>&#8216; Please note that <strong>this request it can only be conducted by Colombian companies and costs $151,500 COP per person (2026 rate).<br \/><\/strong><\/p><p><strong>IF YOUR STAY EXCEEDS 180 DAYS, YOU MUST APPLY FOR A COURTESY TYPE V VISA.\u00a0<\/strong><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/i><\/p><p>To apply for this visa, you must first process the document that certifies that your production is a foreign project, as follows:<\/p><ul><li>If your project is a cinematographic work (feature film or short film) you must request the <em>Authorization to shoot in national territory<\/em>, issued by the Ministry of Culture, by sending these <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/mng.mincultura.gov.co\/areas\/cinematografia\/Documents\/Requisitos%20Autorizaci%C3%B3n%20de%20Rodaje%20en%20Territorio%20Nacional.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">documents<\/a> <\/span>to the following e-mail addresses:<br \/><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"mailto:idacosta@mincultura.gov.co\">idacosta@mincultura.gov.co<\/a><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"mailto:griano@mincultura.gov.co\">griano@mincultura.gov.co<\/a><\/span><\/li><li>If your project is an audiovisual format other than a cinematographic work (series, music videos, video games, among others), you must request the <em>Certification of foreign audiovisual work<\/em>, issued by the Colombian Film Commission, following the instructions in the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/comisionfilmicacolombia.com\/en\/procedures\/certification-foreign-audiovisual-work\/\">link<\/a>. <\/span><strong>Once you have this document<\/strong>, you may apply for the courtesy type V Visa.<\/li><\/ul><p>If you wish to apply directly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, free of charge and autonomously, follow the instructions <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cancilleria.gov.co\/sites\/default\/files\/FOTOS2018\/guia_del_usuario_solicitar_visa_en_linea.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">below<\/a> <\/span>and register in this <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/tramitesmre.cancilleria.gov.co\/tramites\/enlinea\/solicitarVisa.xhtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link<\/a><\/span>.<\/p><p>You can also apply for visas through the Colombian Film Commission, accessing the following benefits:<\/p><ul><li>Review of all your documents<\/li><li>Interlocution with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/li><li>Application management<\/li><li>Fast processing<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"has_ae_slider elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-2133a76 ae-bg-gallery-type-default\" data-id=\"2133a76\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a3d7ee4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a3d7ee4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Review the <a href=\"https:\/\/comisionfilmicacolombia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/fc-in-1-v4-instructivo-ingreso-extranjeros-solicitud-visas-certificacion-de-obra-audiovisual-2.pdf\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">costs and steps<\/span><\/a> to apply for a courtesy type V Visa with the Proim\u00e1genes Colombia\u2019s Film Commission.<\/p><p><strong>RECOMMENDATIONS:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Keep in mind that if the foreign personnel is hired by a Colombian company, it is not eligible for the courtesy type V visa application.<\/li><li>Your visa will be issued for the time you have requested. However, you should be aware that if the visa is valid for more than 90 days, you must apply for a foreigner&#8217;s identification card in Colombia.<\/li><li>Please note that the type V visa allows multiple entries into the country.<\/li><li>If you require a longer stay than initially requested, it is possible to apply for a new courtesy type V Visa as long as the previous one has not expired. The application must be made 15 working days prior to the expiration of the visa. This process can be performed in the country.<\/li><li>If you have two nationalities, you must enter the country with the passport to which you were granted the courtesy type V Visa.
