This year, the BAM – Bogot\u00e1 Audiovisual Market<\/a> returned to the in person activities where we,\u00a0 Proim\u00e1genes Colombia’s Film Commission, were part of the academic offer at this encounter of the Colombian audiovisual industry.<\/p>\n

As a result of our global exchange experiences, we have come to understand the importance of establishing an articulation<\/strong> between the tourism sector<\/strong> and the growing Colombian audiovisual industry<\/strong>. Our goal is not only consolidate the country as a world-class production destination, but also to contribute to national economic development of tourism market in the territories where international and local productions shoot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Through this face-to-face talk, which took place on July 15 at the BAM – Bogot\u00e1 Audiovisual Market Experience venue, we sough to open a conversation<\/strong><\/span> with tourism agents and members of local production teams.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the participation of Ver\u00f3nica Echeverri<\/em>, Manager of Industries 4.0 at Procolombia, Camila Fl\u00f3rez<\/em>, Deputy Director of Promotion at the Film Commission of Proim\u00e1genes Colombia, Emerson Espinosa<\/em>, location manager and producer, and the moderation of Nicol\u00e1s Pe\u00f1a<\/em>, editor of Colombia Visible in Caracol and W Radio, we managed to come up with some ideas about how to establish Colombia as a film tourism destination.<\/p>\n
