The project is a beneficiary of the <a href=\"https:\/\/comisionfilmicacolombia.com\/incentivos\/contraprestacion-ffc\/\">Colombia Film Fund (FFC)<\/a> cash rebate incentive and was shot in Mosquera, Cundinamarca in February 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;Buddy Games&#8217; is inspired by the comedy film of the same name, created and directed by Duhamel, based on a real-life tradition of organizing physical and mental challenges for his friends. In the show, six teams of four lifelong friends will travel to a lake house and compete in a series of challenges, including dodgeball, water balloon fights, and obstacle courses. The last team standing will be crowned champion and take a cash prize home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The challenges will test the strength, endurance, and mental toughness of each team member to strengthen their bonds with the group and relive their days of youth and glory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Buddy Games&#8217; is produced by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bunim-murray.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bunim-Murray<\/a> with audiovisual services by <a href=\"https:\/\/cumbiafilms.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cumbia Films.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new reality competition series &#8216;Buddy Games&#8217;, hosted by Josh Duhamel, will premiere on Thursday, September 14 on CBS.
