This result confirms international producers\u2019 confidence in the country and reflects Colombia\u2019s sustained growth as a competitive audiovisual destination on the global stage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Between 2020 and 2025, a total of <\/span><b>165 audiovisual projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were approved to receive the CINA. Of these, <\/span><b>106 have been successfully completed<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, generating approximately <\/span><b>COP 1.8 trillion (USD 449 million)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in investment. In addition, <\/span><b>59 projects are currently in development<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, projecting around<\/span><b> COP 1.6 trillion (USD 412 million) in investment.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So far in 2025, the incentive has approved <\/span><b>32 additional projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with an estimated investment of <\/span><b>COP 752 billion (USD 188 million)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Altogether, projects approved through the CINA have represented more than <\/span><b>COP 3.4 trillion (USD 861 million)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in investment for the country since its creation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The impact of the incentive system created under Law 1556 of 2012\u2014comprising the Audiovisual Investment Certificate (CINA) and the Colombia Film Fund (FFC)\u2014goes beyond direct investment. According to information reported by finalized projects, the incentive has enabled the creation of more than <\/span><b>130,000 direct jobs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for Colombian professionals in technical and artistic areas. Ongoing projects are expected to hire more than <\/span><b>10,000 additional professionals directly.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The effect on the economy is also reflected in related sectors: projects have reported more than <\/span><b>570,000 hotel nights and over 30,000 airline tickets <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">purchased, significantly boosting tourism and service industries in the country. Additional titles include <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">52nd State<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Jaguar Bite), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Top Chef VIP<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> season 4 (Estudios RCN), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Miss Universe Latina: El Reality<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Estudios RCN), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DOC<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Sony Pictures Television), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perfil Falso<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> season 3 (TIS Productions), and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Medusa<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> season 2 (TIS Productions), which consolidate the presence of large-scale and diverse productions in the country thanks to the CINA incentive. This year also saw the approval of <\/span><b>7 feature films<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including independent productions, strengthening cinema\u2019s participation in the program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThese results show that the impact we have achieved is outstanding. In 2025 alone, <\/span><b>7 post-production projects and 3 animation projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have been approved, consolidating Colombia as a competitive hub for high-level specialized services, with talent and technical capacities meeting global market demands.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With record figures, an expansion into new formats, and the arrival of major international productions, Colombia confirms that its audiovisual sector is in a stage of consolidation and growth. The full allocation of the 2025 CINA quota marks a milestone that underscores the strength of the incentive and the country\u2019s positioning as one of the world\u2019s most attractive destinations for audiovisual production.
