The Colombian participation will include five projects in the training and co-production sections and 18 in the pitching sessions, along with more than 50 national companies present thanks to the support of <strong data-start=\"440\" data-end=\"455\">ProColombia<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"460\" data-end=\"468\">CINA<\/strong> resources through the <strong data-start=\"491\" data-end=\"526\">Colombia Film Commission (CFC)<\/strong>. The delegation will be accompanied by <strong data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"586\">Silvia Echeverri<\/strong>, Director, and <strong data-start=\"602\" data-end=\"618\">Diego Bustos<\/strong>, Deputy Director of Promotion, representing the CFC, as well as <strong data-start=\"683\" data-end=\"701\">Katalina Tob\u00f3n<\/strong>, Deputy Director of International Promotion, and <strong data-start=\"751\" data-end=\"769\">Claudia Triana<\/strong>, Director of <strong data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"807\">Proim\u00e1genes Colombia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"812\" data-end=\"1398\">Iberseries &amp; Platino Industria has become the leading meeting point for platforms, television networks, creators, producers, distributors, buyers, financiers, and other industry stakeholders, as well as organizations involved in tourism, education, and new technologies linked to audiovisual production. In just four editions, it has managed to bring together numerous professionals and experts in an event that combines the experience and long-standing trajectory of leading companies in the film and audiovisual industry working globally in Spanish- and Portuguese-language content.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1400\" data-end=\"1946\">Thanks to the collaboration between <strong data-start=\"1436\" data-end=\"1451\">ProColombia<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1456\" data-end=\"1480\">Proim\u00e1genes Colombia<\/strong>, this participation aims to highlight the country\u2019s diverse locations, attractive economic incentives, and the value of Colombian stories that are capturing the attention of international audiences and producers. With a <strong data-start=\"1701\" data-end=\"1721\">country pavilion<\/strong> and a delegation of more than 50 audiovisual companies, Colombia seeks to generate new business opportunities, establish strategic alliances, and consolidate its position as a key destination for international productions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1948\" data-end=\"2574\">The Colombian delegation brings together production, post-production, and animation companies that reflect the sector\u2019s diversity and dynamism, including <strong data-start=\"2102\" data-end=\"2219\">Doinmedia, Jaguar Bite, Diptongo, Lynch Anima, The Yellow House, CMO Studios, Team Toon Studio, and S\u00e9ptima Films<\/strong>, along with 32 other companies traveling to Madrid with the support of the <strong data-start=\"2295\" data-end=\"2303\">CINA<\/strong> market call. Key topics will include the promotion of the <strong data-start=\"2919\" data-end=\"2964\">Transferable Tax Credit (CINA)<\/strong>, a crucial tool to attract foreign productions and strengthen local talent. Thanks to this incentive, major titles such as <em data-start=\"3088\" data-end=\"3119\">One Hundred Years of Solitude<\/em>, <em data-start=\"3121\" data-end=\"3130\">Delirio<\/em>, and <em data-start=\"3136\" data-end=\"3148\">La Hu\u00e9sped<\/em> have recently been produced in Colombia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3193\" data-end=\"3702\">Aligned with its mission to strengthen the industry, the Commission also promotes the <strong data-start=\"3279\" data-end=\"3294\">CINA System<\/strong>, which supports the development of new Colombian series. Through this program, projects such as <em data-start=\"3391\" data-end=\"3408\">Infierno Grande<\/em> and <em data-start=\"3413\" data-end=\"3429\">Deja de Llorar<\/em> have received financial support within the framework of the <strong data-start=\"3490\" data-end=\"3525\">Bogot\u00e1 Audiovisual Market (BAM)<\/strong>, enabling them to finance key development stages such as scriptwriting, research, production bibles, and the preparation of materials for potential partners and co-producers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3704\" data-end=\"4493\">Beyond its business presence, Colombia stands out this year with strong participation in training and co-production spaces that foster creative development and the international reach of new content. <em data-start=\"3904\" data-end=\"3919\">El Enmaletado<\/em> by Marienne Corchuelo, <em data-start=\"3943\" data-end=\"3949\">Fura<\/em> by Andr\u00e9s Tudela, and <em data-start=\"3972\" data-end=\"3990\">Suerte de Perros<\/em> by Andr\u00e9s White will take part in the <strong data-start=\"4029\" data-end=\"4062\">Showrunners Training Workshop<\/strong>, an initiative that strengthens the skills needed to create, write, and manage series production. Meanwhile, the feature films <em data-start=\"4190\" data-end=\"4202\">Desechable<\/em> (Spain\/Colombia) by Jaibo Films and <em data-start=\"4239\" data-end=\"4248\">Nocroma<\/em>, and <em data-start=\"4254\" data-end=\"4268\">Santo Alivio<\/em> (Colombia\/Spain) by Dessu Productions, are part of the <strong data-start=\"4324\" data-end=\"4361\">Co-Production and Financing Forum<\/strong>, a platform that connects high-level projects with potential partners, investors, and sales agents from Latin America and Europe.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4495\" data-end=\"4785\">Adding to this presence, eighteen Colombian projects (nine feature films and nine series) will participate in the <strong data-start=\"4609\" data-end=\"4659\">Pitching Sessions with Platforms and Producers<\/strong>, a strategic space for presenting ideas in various stages of development to producers, buyers, and international investors.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4787\" data-end=\"5314\">This year\u2019s agenda also highlights several activities centered on Colombia. Among them are the conference <strong data-start=\"4893\" data-end=\"4985\">\u201cRecreating Macondo: The Production Design of the Series One Hundred Years of Solitude,\u201d<\/strong> which explores how Gabriel Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez\u2019s literary universe was brought to the screen in this CINA-supported production, and <strong data-start=\"5113\" data-end=\"5208\">\u201cMedell\u00edn Audiovisual Spring: An Ideal Setting to Produce and Foster Creative Connections,\u201d<\/strong> which presents the Antioquian capital as a prime territory for the development of audiovisual projects.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5316\" data-end=\"5616\">With its active presence in international industry events such as Iberseries, <strong data-start=\"5394\" data-end=\"5514\">Colombia reaffirms its position as a competitive and prolific destination for the creation and production of content<\/strong>, backed by its talent, the richness of its stories, and a constantly growing audiovisual ecosystem.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The fifth edition of Iberseries &amp; Platino Industria will take place from September 30 to October 3 in Madrid.
