This event also marks the closing of the activity cycle funded by the 2025 budget of the <em data-start=\"430\" data-end=\"489\">International Audiovisual Markets Attendance Support Call<\/em>, and takes place at a key moment for the sector, following the announcement of the <strong>new CINA 2026 allocation<\/strong>, which represents a<strong> 49% increase compared to the previous quota<\/strong>, strengthening the country\u2019s capacity to attract and support international productions interested in developing their projects in Colombia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"803\" data-end=\"1225\">Throughout 2025, the call supported the participation of Colombian companies in strategic markets across <strong>Europe and the Americas<\/strong>, including Annecy Mifa (animation), Gamescom (video games), Iberseries Platino &amp; Industria, MIPCOM, the American Film Market (AFM), and MIP Canc\u00fan. This consolidated an international pathway that enabled the circulation of Colombian projects, services, and talent across different territories.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1227\" data-end=\"1791\">Colombia will be present at Content Americas for the third consecutive year, with stand #101 on the market floor\u2014an area designed to foster connections between Colombian companies and international stakeholders, facilitate business meetings, strengthen professional networks, and generate strategic partnerships. The institutional delegation will include Silvia Echeverri, Director of the Colombia Film Commission, and Diego Bustos, Deputy Director of Promotion, with an active agenda of meetings with producers, strategic partners, and key market decision-makers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1793\" data-end=\"2579\">Approximately <strong>10 Colombian companies are participating<\/strong> in Content Americas thanks to the support provided by the call, representing a diverse offering of audiovisual content and services. This presence is further reinforced by a digital catalog featuring the participating companies, which serves as a promotional tool throughout the market. In addition, <strong>Colombia\u2019s participation extends to the event\u2019s academic program<\/strong>, with the involvement of<strong> Carolina Leconte, VP of Content for Mexico and Licensing for Latin America at Netflix; Alex Mar\u00edn, VP of Distribution at RCN; Samuel Duque, President of TIS Studios; and Juancho Cardona, founder of 11:11 Films &amp; TV<\/strong>, who will take part as panelists, sharing their experience and showcasing Colombian talent in international discussion forums.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2581\" data-end=\"3356\">Colombia\u2019s presence at Content Americas is also strengthened by the international recognition of its content. In the official selection of the <strong>Rose d\u2019Or Latinos Awards<\/strong>, Colombia features standout productions across several categories, including <em data-start=\"2826\" data-end=\"2835\">Delirio<\/em> (TIS Studios \/ Netflix) in the drama series category; <em data-start=\"2890\" data-end=\"2927\">Betty, la fea: la historia contin\u00faa<\/em> (Estudios RCN \/ Prime Video) in comedy or dramedy series; the telenovelas <em data-start=\"3002\" data-end=\"3029\">Escupir\u00e9 sobre sus tumbas<\/em> (Caracol Televisi\u00f3n \/ Netflix) and <em data-start=\"3065\" data-end=\"3079\">La sustituta<\/em> (Estudios RCN \/ ViX); the streaming feature film <em data-start=\"3129\" data-end=\"3160\">Pimpinero: Blood and Gasoline<\/em> (Dynamo \/ Prime Video); and the competition format <em data-start=\"3212\" data-end=\"3231\">Desaf\u00edo Siglo XXI<\/em> (Caracol Televisi\u00f3n), highlighting the strength and diversity of Colombian audiovisual production in the regional landscape.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3358\" data-end=\"3651\">Participation in Content Americas is part of a broader promotion plan led by the Colombia Film Commission, aimed at positioning the country as a competitive partner for audiovisual production, not only because of its stories and talent, but also due to its incentives, locations, and services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Colombia Film Commission of Proim\u00e1genes Colombia launches its international calendar with its participation in Content Americas, one of the most relevant markets for the audiovisual industry in the Americas.
