These projects have generated investments exceeding COP 3.4 trillion and have created over 130,000 direct jobs, positioning the country as a regional benchmark in competitiveness for audiovisual production.

In 2025, the incentive further confirmed its impact with the approval of 32 projects that filled the entire available quota, spanning formats such as feature films, series, reality shows, video games, post-production, and animation. Among the recent titles supported by CINA is the second season of The Night Manager, scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on January 11. “Coming to Colombia was a huge decision. After meeting with AG Studios, led by Colombian producer Rodrigo Guerrero, the project took definitive shape. Filming was carried out with a crew largely made up of local talent (326 people across technical and artistic teams) and took place in Girardot and various locations in Cundinamarca, Cartagena, and the Aburrá Valley in Antioquia. With the exception of some highly specialized camera equipment, the production relied on rented technical infrastructure through Congo Films, a Colombian rental house, sales company, and film school.

“I loved the way Rodrigo approached the production, but also how he treated people, the way he took care of his crew… He has extensive experience across different productions, is very level-headed, and is very proud of Colombia.
