Between April 13 and 17, the Colombia Film Commission launched its 2026 familiarization tour calendar with a new edition that brought together executives from Universal Television, HBO Max, and Fremantle, as well as the independent production company Ryder Picture Company<\/strong>. Over the course of five days, the group of producers traveled through Bogot\u00e1, Medell\u00edn, and Cartagena to explore locations, build partnerships, and discover the opportunities Colombia offers for high-end audiovisual productions.<\/p>\n

The activities were designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the country\u2019s audiovisual ecosystem: technical infrastructure, diverse landscapes, skilled crews, and the network of service companies that support international projects throughout the entire production chain.<\/p>\n

The tour began in Bogot\u00e1 with a welcome breakfast and a presentation on Colombia\u2019s audiovisual incentives, including the CINA (Audiovisual Investment Certificate in Colombia) and the FFC (Colombia Film Fund). The agenda also included a visit to the set of the series DOC and the facilities of TIS Studios. The day concluded with a tour of the historic downtown area alongside the Bogot\u00e1 Film Commission, which also showcased the city\u2019s capabilities and strength as a filming destination.<\/p>\n

In addition, Four Seasons opened its doors for a networking event between the international visitors and Colombian companies with experience in large-scale productions: 64A Films, AG Studios Colombia, Caracol Televisi\u00f3n, Cimarr\u00f3n Cine Colombia, CMO Producciones, Dynamo Producciones, Jaguar Bite, Laberinto Cine y Televisi\u00f3n, RCN Televisi\u00f3n, Rhayuela Films, and Trompetero Producciones.<\/p>\n

The next stop was Medell\u00edn, with the support of the Medell\u00edn Film Commission, which also presented its services and key strengths. The itinerary included iconic locations such as Parque Arv\u00ed, the Metrocable, Plaza Botero, the Government Center, and Parques del R\u00edo. These settings highlighted the diversity of environments and the city\u2019s versatility in terms of mobility and accessibility for different types of productions.<\/p>\n

The Fam Tour concluded with two days in Cartagena, featuring additional meetings with local producers, visits to landmarks in the historic center, and tours of some of the islands that make up the Bol\u00edvar region.<\/p>\n
