The Santo Domingo Cloister is a beautiful example of the colonial religious architecture developed after 1736 called ''Popayan Style'', has inside a variety of baroque altars bathed in gold leaf and the main altar of neoclassical style, it is also noteworthy for its excellent brick masonry work in the arches of both the aisles and the choir, columns and chancel.
