La Caverna del Nitro is an integral part of the natural heritage of Zapatoca, carved millions of years ago by water, its speleothems are valuable traces of evolution that does not end and keeps it in continuous transformation. Inside, the animal life is an example of how to survive in complete darkness and in difficult conditions. Therefore, conserving and protecting it is an endless task, only in this way future generations will be able to know it and admire the wisdom of nature.
