TERMALES DE GUAICARAMO

Within the mountain and near the shore of the immense Upía River, the Termales el Encanto de Guaicaramo Natural Reserve is born. In this place native ecosystems coexist, a living mountain not intervened by man, it is a wonderful space to contemplate the natural beauty and enjoy family time. Las Termales is a rural association tourism project, the communities of the El Encanto village came together to take care of their environment, conserve this site and guarantee that it is always clean, neat, without deforestation and without animal abuse. The 28 families of the project are constantly training to receive and serve tourists. The word Guaicaramo means “where the waters are born.” These waters feed and flow into the Upía River. The Attraction is the jewel of the municipality of Barranca de Upia. Its waters turn blue between November and March.
