Description
Called 'Popayán's nose', the Clock Tower stands in the southwestern corner of Parque Caldas. It was built between 1673 and 1682 and the single-pointer clock was donated by the city priests in 1737. The 1983 earthquake caused damage, but these were repaired without moving a single one of the 90,000 bricks that make up its structure.
