La Colonia Films is a Colombian audiovisual production company with experience in the national and international industry. In recent years he has co-produced 4 Feature Films, 2 MinTic series, around 15 short films and a web series. The feature film NOWHERE ( https://imdb.to/3HdN9G6 ) obtained two nominations at the Macondo 2021 awards, won the award for best first film at the Villa del Cine Festival, Best Film at the OMovies festival, Best Narrative at the Festival Chesapeake, Best Dramatic Film Award and Woods Holes FiIm Festival Audience Award and Best of the Festival at Roving Eye, also participated in more than 20 festivals around the world during the years 2020 to 2022 and was released in theaters in Colombia, the United States, France and the United Kingdom.

La Colonia Films also co-produces the film KMKZ ( https://www.imdb.com/title/tt27915706/ ) currently in post-production. The film won the FDC post-production fund and has participated in the Work in Progress of the Guadalajara Film Festival, Encuentros BioCine, and Viña del Mar International Festival. The other projects include “En Avant” ( https://bit.ly/3NcwQgg ) in co-production with the National University, the Web series, “Los Goodfellas” ( https://bit.ly/41PWaNu ) and the feature film Colibrí, soon to be released in theaters ( https://bit.ly/3LtvVqt ) who participated in the FilmShop workshop in the United States. La Colonia has also participated in the 48 project with the shorts “Cenizas” which won best soundtrack and “Dos escalas” which was available RTVCplay ( www.rtvc.gov.co/noticia/cortometrajes-proyecto-48 ). He has participated in the short film “Sofia” by director Edison Sanchez, winner of the FDC, and in the Smartfilms short film “Ellipsis.” La Colonia has also worked in the advertising sector with companies such as Vogue Spain, Adidas Colombia and Novo Nordisk.

We have supported cultural processes such as the Ficdeh Human Rights Festival, FicBosa, the Bogotá Rolling Cinematheque, Tunjo Lab and Barrios Sounds. We also provide incentives for audiovisual equipment for degree theses from different universities within our pedagogical program "Broaden your gaze" in which, together with the university programs, we carry out an internal call with pitch and feedback exercises.
