The Magdalena River Museum is located in Honda, Tolima, in the old building known as the La Ceiba barracks. The Magdalena River Museum provides a comprehensive overview of the navigation and the economic, social, and cultural dynamics of the river. It presents a river-memory inhabited by various human groups, whose faces this museum aims to make visible; they have turned the Magdalena into a river-world, a culture in motion.
