Description
The building constructed in 1809 was intended for the processing and storage of tobacco, which was shipped via the Magdalena River to the seaport and then sent to Europe. The Factor's House was a reflection of the vitality of this Tolima town, known for its white and green houses built with wattle and daub, clay tiles, and traditional columns on the facade.
