Cascada and Sacred Sanctuary La Periquera, formerly known as Cascades of the Guacamaya, which means 'Children of those who interpret dreams,' as named by the Muiscas indigenous people. Later, the conquerors called it 'La Periquera' due to the abundance of parrots that inhabited the area, but they have gradually disappeared due to cultivation.
