Description
The San Miguel Arcángel de Puracé Parish is a religious structure of great importance for the municipality of Puracé. It is dedicated to San Miguel Arcángel as a reflection of the devotion of the region to Catholicism. Its simple and traditional architecture has a central nave and two side naves; its decoration is austere, but the stained glass windows give it a sense of brightness and the dimensions of its sacred images give peace to the space, which is in keeping with the rural environment and blends harmoniously into the mountainous landscape of the area.
