Description
Built from 1823 commissioned by the gentleman Narciso Reyes, blessed in 1831, it is a sample of colonial architecture and a symbol of the religious power of the time. Republican façade in cement covered with white lime. Its walls are carved stone at the base and the other half is trodden mud, its access door has a stone horseshoe arch and the central bell tower in the upper part of the façade. It is dedicated to San Antonio, a saint who belonged to the Franciscan order. Its wooden carving altar and the images of the Virgin of Fatima, San Antonio and San Pedro Claver stand out. Next to it is the nursing home. Open only for masses.
