Description
The Francisco de Paula Santander Park is located in the center of the city. It was named in honor of the liberator who was sent to Casanare to achieve the freedom of New Granada. In addition to being the scene of different political and civic activities, a space open surrounded by native trees and benches so that visitors can take a break while enjoying a typical shaved ice or salpicón. Surrounding it is the banking area, the San José de Yopal cathedral, the DIAN offices and the 8 de Julio House Museum, making it strategic for its visitors.
