Description
It is considered the largest square in the country, covering an area of 14,000 square meters. Its colonial appearance, reflected in the stone floors, is one of its main features. In the center, there is a stone-carved water trough that, centuries ago, supplied drinking water to the town's inhabitants. Surrounding the square, you can find the mayor's office, museums, hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, craft stores, and other buildings, most of which preserve the architecture of the colonial era.
