These projects add to the growing list of productions that have chosen Colombia as a filming destination, benefiting from CINA, an incentive that grants a 35% tax discount on expenses related to audiovisual and logistical services contracted with local companies.

At the Colombia Film Commission, we have played a key role in connecting national service production companies with major international productions, facilitating access to incentives and promoting Colombia as a hub for audiovisual production. Our efforts have helped more high-impact projects find in Colombia the ideal setting for their realization, positioning the country as a competitive film destination. This has highlighted our unique locations, attractive financial incentives, institutional support, and creative talent, which have drawn international productions to film in Colombia.

Josep Amorós, executive producer of One Hundred Years of Solitude, emphasized the quality and talent that Colombia offers for audiovisual production: "I believe what you find here is great casting and outstanding talent. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Colombia because I know I’d be well supported and could film with full guarantees of success. Additionally, in such a competitive market as the audiovisual industry, having a cash rebate demonstrates that Colombia is a place where high-level productions can be made."

We celebrate the participation of these productions in the India Catalina Awards and FICCI 2025, reaffirming our commitment to strengthening Colombia’s audiovisual industry and promoting national talent.
