Description
The village is one of the twelve communities that make up the Kankuamo Indigenous Reserve. It is located on the southeastern slope of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, between the Chiscuinlla and Candela rivers, 43 km from Valledupar. Its sloping cobblestone streets crisscross small hills and form rows of interconnecting paths. It has a small main square where the church is located, surrounded by colorful houses and the mountains in the background. Land access via a well-maintained road. Parking and production facilities are located on the streets. Quiet town with little vehicular traffic. Infrastructure is in good condition. Wi-Fi and basic services are available in homes, meeting centers, and commercial premises.
