Description
Cartago is located on the banks of the La Vieja River and the Cauca River runs along the western side of its territory. It is one of the oldest towns in the department, in Colombia and in South America. The Casa del Virrey, the Music Conservatory, some religious temples, and La Isleta Park stand out as architectural and tourist references.
