Right in the heart of the city and next to some of the most emblematic architectural landmarks in the sector, such as the Antioquia Museum, Berrío Park, the Candelaria Basilica, the Veracruz Church and the Medellin Metro, stands Palacio of Culture Rafael Uribe Uribe, current headquarters of the Institute of Culture and Heritage of Antioquia. Its corridors, halls and rooms, characterized by their architectural and artistic beauty, witnessed the most important events in the department. In addition, they were the epicenter of important artistic events such as Departmental Arts Halls, Teachers' Halls and collective and individual exhibitions.
