Argentina leads with eight productions, while Colombia matches Mexico's number, which premiered 14 productions in 2023, signaling a greater balance in the production of Spanish-speaking series and films.

One of the most anticipated bets is the adaptation of 'Cien años de soledad', the monumental work by Gabriel García Márquez, a titanic task that has been undertaken by a team of top-notch screenwriters, backed by Netflix's highest investment in Latin America, which demonstrates the quality and talent of the Colombian human team.

Another series returning with force is 'La primera vez', which was a resounding success in its first season on the platform, immersing the viewer in the 1970s and exploring the social context of the time. On the other hand, 'Fake Profile' also presents its second season, showing the traps and challenges faced by users of dating apps and social networks.

One of the most striking proposals is 'Secuestro del vuelo 601', a series based on real events that occurred in 1973, where suspense and tension take over the screen while narrating a dramatic aerial hijacking and the desperate negotiations that followed. With a stellar cast, this production promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats in every episode.

Among the most outstanding premieres of last year are 'El grito de las mariposas', 'La ley de la selva', the second season of 'Pálpito' and 'Calle y Poché sin etiquetas', among others. These proposals are complemented by a list of films and series benefiting from the incentives (FFC) Film Fund Colombia and (CINA) Audiovisual Investment Certificate, which have an approved amount for 2024 of $310,000,000,000, offered by the Colombian Film Commission, which has supported productions such as 'Ambush', 'Tomorrow Before After', 'Sound of Freedom', and 'What You Wish For', among others, further expanding the diversity and quality of the Colombian catalog on Netflix.
