The Colombian business delegation will include 39 companies, of which 23 were prioritized by the Comisión Fílmica Colombia through contributions from the CINA incentive, under the Participation of Companies in the Promotion of Colombia's Audiovisual Industry 2026 call, in the International Audiovisual Markets Attendance category. Participating companies include LYNCH Anima, 2/4 Producciones, CMO Studios SAS, Rhayuela Films S.A.S., Candelaria Cine SAS and The Yellow House SAS, among others. This participation is complemented by companies supported by ProColombia and EL PAUER (Comfama).
The delegation will also include Claudia Triana, Director of Proimágenes Colombia; Diego Bustos, Director of the Comisión Fílmica Colombia; Ángela Navarro, Deputy Director of FFC and CINA; Angélica Clavijo, Promotion Coordinator; and Katalina Tobón, Deputy Director of International Promotion. As part of Colombia's presence at the event, the Colombia stand at Iberseries & Platino Industria 2026 will officially open on September 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Matadero Madrid. The space will showcase Colombian talent and projects, as well as the country's offering for the international audiovisual industry.
The professional agenda will include the International Audiovisual Market (MAI), a space dedicated to bringing together companies, institutions and professionals for the presentation and commercialization of content. The event will also feature the Platform and Production Company Pitch Sessions, the Co-Production and Financing Forum, the Euro Atlantic Series Co-Pro Pitch and specialized workshops. For the Pitch Sessions, 84 projects from 13 countries were selected, while the Co-Production and Financing Forum will feature 20 projects from 14 countries, in addition to three invited projects.
The 2026 program will also include the session “A Snapshot of Women's Participation in the Colombian Audiovisual Industry: Actions for Change and Equal Opportunities,” presented by Platino EDUCA (EGEDA) and the Nebrija Chair (CIMUED). The session will present the findings of a study on women's participation in the Colombian audiovisual industry, conducted by Universidad Nebrija, Universidad del Norte and Universidad de La Sabana.
Colombia's participation continues the country's presence at the event. In the fifth edition, held in 2025, 39 Colombian companies participated, along with five projects in training and co-production spaces and 18 projects in the Pitch Sessions. The delegation included representatives from the Comisión Fílmica Colombia and Proimágenes Colombia, as well as Colombian companies supported by CINA and ProColombia resources.
Overall, the fifth edition brought together more than 2,700 professionals from 50 countries, more than 1,500 companies, and more than 180 buyers and commissioners from 30 countries. Colombia was among the countries with the strongest international representation.
In 2026, Colombian companies and institutions will participate in networking opportunities with producers, platforms, distributors, buyers and other industry stakeholders, with opportunities related to co-production, financing, commercialization and project development.
